Set in a retro-future world, Hello Tomorrow! centers around a group of traveling salesmen hawking lunar timeshares. Despite its interesting premise, this series is incredibly dull. Not even Billy Crudup’s solid performance as a classic teleshopping host, can save it. You won’t really connect with any of the characters, no matter how hard they try. The only real reason to watch this show is to enjoy the entertaining depiction of a retro-futuristic 1950s. I can imagine that if someone like Tim Burton, who loves this era, had tackled this concept, it could have been a hit. As it stands, it’s pretty underwhelming.
