Biography

Frederike is a screenwriter, director and actress. She studied theatre and film studies in New York and Paris before she came to Brussels where she still lives today. Her professional career started as a production assistent. In 2013, Frederike made her first short film Malakim (2013), followed by Adam & Everything (2014) and Nkosi Coiffure (2015). Her last film was supported by the VAF (Flemish Audiovisual Fund), won the Canal+ award at the Brussels Short Film Festival and was screened at more than 40 festivals including Tribeca Film Festival in New York and the BFI festival in London. In 2017, Migom made the short documentary Si-G which was distributed by JEF and also made with the support of the VAF. Migom’s first feature film was Binti.
