Watching the first season of Spectros, I felt like I was watching something of a variation on Diablero. Only where Diablero is really cool, has really great characters, and better special effects, Spectros is just kind of bland and really mediocre. The characters are not that good. Plus, the narrative is too lightweight. However, the combination of Brazilian folklore, history, and witchcraft, with elements of Japanese Shinto ghost tales is a good idea well executed. ()
