Herrington High is not your typical American school. Its walls are graffitied, it's guards are armed, it's students are pierced and it's teachers are brain-dead. Literally. But whoever said being a teenager was easy? Like teenagers everywhere they struggle with parents who don't get it, teachers who never had it and hormones that want it. But the loners, leaders, ferals, geeks, brains and jocks that make up Herrington's finest are about to come face to face with something more soul destroying than acne and raging libidos.
