English Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy are the only comedians of the silent era and its transition to sound film that I loved and watched as a child. Even after years, they haven't lost their charm for me, and they are still entertaining. I remember them more as silent comedy characters, but they might be even better in their spoken roles. It's a classic that won't age much, but you also have to enjoy slapstick humor. I'm not always in the mood for it to be honest. ()
