The second instalment in the long-running horror franchise. Set five years after the first film, the action takes place in the vicinity of the infamous Camp Crystal Lake, where the counsellors from the neighbouring holiday camps come visiting and thus make themselves available to the grisly attentions of the psychotic Jason. One by one the carefree teenagers begin to disappear, their bodies turning up slaughtered in a variety of imaginative ways. (Paramount Pictures AU)

So, I wonder if it's better when authors try again with the same thing, just with different actors, or if it's more appropriate when they try to develop some mythology. The movie "Halloween - Curse of Michael Myers" would rather refer to the first option, because when mythology is poorly approached, it's terrible. But "Friday the 13th Part 2" doesn't bring anything new, and you're really just watching the first one again, just with different characters. ()
The teenagers are boring, there’s no atmosphere, and the killing scenes have no new ideas. Jason hasn't been paying attention in class, and he misses a lot of things in practice. Sterile boredom. ()
