In this explosive action thriller, a group of heavily armed terrorists take control of a football stadium packed with 35,000 spectators. Ex-Marine Michael Knox (Dave Bautista), who is attending the game with the daughter of a fallen comrade, is forced to use his lethal fighting skills and everything at his disposal to save the hostages and prevent mass destruction. A bit better than I expected given the creative team, but far from a smash hit. A hundred times wrung out theme with a few novel funny ideas (counting GTA games, Allah Akbar!), but safely floating in the waters of cheap cliché, thanks to which we will see it five years from now on TV Barrandov in Jaromír Sokup's Filmoteka. This has no business being in theaters. A simple and naive action flick, with the main character played by Dave Bautista, whom I don't consider a good actor and certainly can't pull off a film on his own. Fortunately he is a brawler, so during the fights there is something to watch, he has some decent Russian opponents against him, so it is bearable for one viewing, but no glory. 50% ()
