Sidney Lumet directs this classic British drama adapted from Agatha Christie's novel. Set in 1935, the film follows Belgian detective Hercule Poirot (Albert Finney) as he travels back to London aboard the Orient Express. Heading into heavy weather, it's not long before the train becomes stuck in snow while travelling through Yugoslavia. When one of the passengers, millionaire Ratchett (Richard Widmark), is murdered overnight, Poirot faces a race against time to discover the identity of the killer.
