The year is 2005. The prison system is run by the private section. Business tycoon R.D.Crowley (ROBERT DAVI, Showgirls, James Bond The Living Daylights, TV's - The Profiler) has created a Virtual Reality prison. The prisoner's bodies are locked in suspended animation while their mind traverses the lethal labyrinth of games Crowley designed for them. Crowley allows wealthy sportsmen to participate, for a price, in deadly VR combat with the prisoners. Crowley's busines is booming until Will Singleton (GREG SMITH, The Outfit) lands a job as a prison guard. Seduced by his Virtual Reality girlfriend (AMY LYNN BAXTER), Will becomes addicted to VR. He is constantly on-line perfecting his martial asts skills in an ancient VR battle with Thor (MATTHIAS HUES, I Come In Peace, Star Trek 5, Digital Man) and challenging his extensive knowledge of history through various VR adventures. His empathy for one of the innocent prisoners motivates Will to break into the prison and attempt to eradicate the VR technology that enslaves the prisoners. The break-in is discovered and Will is thrown into the lethal time-traveling web of Crowley's virtual hunt. With their lives at stake, Will and the prisoners must escape certain death and destroy the VR prison. (official distributor synopsis)
