Out of work and desperate for cash, ex-special forces officer Eddie Deacon (Antonio Banderas) takes a job as a security guard at a local shopping centre. On his first night in the job Deacon opens the doors to a young girl desperately trying to flee from a group of hijackers who attacked the police convoy which was transporting her to testify at an upcoming trial. Learning that the girl had been in witness protection and that the hijackers will stop at nothing to get hold of her, Deacon and his fellow security guards are forced to spring into action and do all they can to protect the girl from her ruthless pursuers. Antonio Banderas and Ben Kingsley do exactly what you would expect them to do, but their faces make the film a little more interesting. It's actually not too bad. A siege of a mall where a new security guard has just joined. It's action-packed, it's a bit gritty in places, but it's a safe bet. Fine by me.
