Falsely accused of rape, libertine Paul Carlson (Christopher Matthews) flees town in order to clear his name. Arriving by coach at Count Dracula’s imposing castle he is drawn into the shadows of the welcoming host never to be seen again. Mystified by his absence, Paul’s fiancée Sarah (Jenny Hanley) and his brother Simon (Dennis Waterman) mount a thorough search in the countryside, leading them to Dracula’s castle to discover the grisly truth behind his disappearance.
