This series of novels must be acknowledged for being quite intriguing and not entirely as predictable as it might seem. There are some gritty moments, and some elements that are essentially prohibited elsewhere. But you'll still feel that it's still mainly a soap opera, where you may not always be that interested in the characters' fates. But as I say, some scenes are very surprising. ()
