Hoping to score a hefty $5 million ransom, three amateur thugs kidnap the daughter of a notorious drug Kingpin. Beaten into submission, they demand she makes a convincing call to her father pleading for the money in exchange for her life, then head off into the desert to await the drop. What they don't realise is... like father, like daughter. She has grown up with guns and violence, murder and mayhem. As time ticks on and pressure mounts, they find themselves in more and more danger, from the police, hitmen and Carlos himself. The unlucky threesome must find a way to keep their once perfect plan in order before all hell breaks loose! Featuring stand-out performances, Vanish is a high-octane, blood-soaked trip through no-man's land where trouble lurks behind every turn of this uniquely twisted plot. (Pinnacle Films)

English VANish is simply a straightforward B-movie that tries to shock a bit with its revelations at the end, but it's nothing overly surprising. Just a rather unpleasant construct. Still, you can have fun with the film if this mindless entertainment means anything to you. Another big plus of the film is the fact that it doesn't last too long, a nice hour and a quarter. Plus, you'll feel like there's always something going on. ()

English If a B-list movie is good, it’s a great pleasure to watch it, or at least in my experience. For instance, this film starts out as a pretty decent B-list action quickie full of American rednecks, their stupid bullshit and wacky editing akin to that in Grindhouse. The only nice thing about this film is the kidnapped chick, whose eyes are the same color as her T-shirt, which you can’t fail to notice. However, in terms of the plot, get ready for two pretty big twists that would definitely kill a horse and for a single scene involving Machete, who if he wasn’t in this movie, nothing much would have happened, and on top of that it would have saved the budget of an already cheap film.
