Plots(1)

When talk show host Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapaport (Seth Rogen) celebrate their 1000th episode of 'Skylark Tonight' Aaron voices his concerns over the seemingly trivial content of their programme. When they are informed that the President of North Korea Kim Jong-un (Randall Park) is a fan of the show they prepare themselves for the interview of their lives. Before they can board the plane however, CIA Agent Lacey (Lizzy Caplan) knocks on their door requesting their assistance in a current operation that aims to assassinate Kim Jong-un. When they get to North Korea will Dave and Aaron be able to simply ask their questions or will the thrill of being set an assignment by the CIA be too much to resist? (Sony Pictures Releasing)

English Very good, any intelligent person can tell that this is just a joke. Seth Rogen and James Franco are a perfect duo and here they prove it again. Great humour, a decent idea, great pace and especially the action and gory ending were very nice. The scene with the tiger was magical for me. This Is The End was crazier, but I had a great time here too. A solid 80%. One of the most controversial films ever. ()

English In a rather dumb way, pure genius. Free promotion doesn’t make The Interviewer any better a movie, but it gives it another dimension of wittiness. The Rogen/Franco duo follows up on Pineapple Express and is more or less on the same level. If you expect anything more, you’ll be disappointed. Absurd situations, often overdone humor, but the gleeful, almost childlike joy with which the whole movie is filmed makes up for that. And the finale shootout with the puppy, the slaughter with the Korean girl and the tank just super. Kate Perry is just evil. Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!" As you shoot across the sky-y-y. ()

English I couldn’t care less about how it’s shot, or if there’s scatological humor, or how the film is affected by the interplay of light and shadow or whatnot. I just wanted to see something I could have a good laugh at, and I got exactly that. Granted, the jokes are far from sophisticated, I know what kind of humor to expect from Seth Rogen, but I sure laughed. Seth Rogen and James Franco have excellent chemistry together, it's fast-paced and it's fun! ()

English "Grandpa got it from Stalin." - "In our country we pronounce it Stallone." I honestly didn't expect such a good comedy and I tip my hat to the filmmakers for not just riding the wave of poking fun at Kim Jong-un all the time (although of course that's what they're all about), but that in fact a lot of the good jokes are not about him. I'm also glad that it went pretty well without feces and the only body fluid used was blood (the finger biting amused me perhaps most of all). ()

English Another wildly over-the-top, talk-heavy comedy with Seth Rogen and his buddy James Franco. For me, it’s a solid three stars because the humor feels exactly the same as all their other films. I’ll be laughing one minute, then suddenly realize I’m bored for the next ten. That said, the concept is brilliant, I’ve got to give them that. ()
