Plots(1)
There's an air of betrayal at Court in Paris and in Wessex. Ecbert agrees to support Kwenthrith in Mercia, but is Ecbert a true ally? Ragnar confides in Yidu his darkest secret. Happiness comes to Lagertha and Kalf and a marriage is arranged. (History Canada)

No major events this time either, but at least there were some intrigues on all fronts, which was a step up from the previous episode. Lagertha was entertaining again, and to my surprise, the bratty Ivar was the first of Ragnar's younger sons to claim a kill. Definitely didn’t see that coming. ()
It's hard to understand this wallowing in screenwriting ballast and confusion. The twist at the end and the fact that Bjorn is becoming more charismatic than his father, who is currently not in very good shape, saves the day. ()
