English More dance kitsch, this time in a Korean-American production. It’s a wannabe gritty story where there's a guy with legal issues who gets mixed up in the wrong game, but mainly he's a dancer with potential. No question about it, the kid can dance. But then he also has to fall in love, make mistakes, and try to get himself out of trouble... There's not much time left for dancing, which obviously has a negative impact on the film. Towards the end, the film transforms into a completely exhausted romance that fails to impress - rather the opposite. The problem is that even the final dance number isn't anything exceptional, despite the effort put in by the drummers. Yes, it's rhythmic and it moves you - maybe - but it's unlikely to blow your mind. ()
