Unbeknownst to school teacher Neil Clarke (Simon Pegg), a group of eccentric aliens (voiced by the Monty Python team) decide to place the fate of humanity in his hands. In order to determine if they should destroy Earth or not, the aliens endow Neil with the ability to make Absolutely Anything he wishes for happen. Once Neil realises that he has these new special powers, it takes him more than a few goes (while giving us more than a few laughs) to try and get the hang of it - all the while the aliens are watching. Will he prove a worthy representative or doom Earth to annihilation? (Icon Home Entertainment)

English A great original idea, a great Simon Pegg and a beautiful Kate Beckinsale. 85 minutes of entertainment that will fly by before the rainbow falls from the sky. Ideas abound, gags are not spared and you find yourself wondering what you would have wanted. Great. 80%. ()

English I guess I was expecting a bigger, raunchier, filthier and more fucked up comedy from Simon Pegg. This is kind of a love story wrapped in the idea of "what if I had the ability to change anything I want", but for the kind of material it is, they didn't do a great job and I believe they could have got a lot more out of it. For one viewing it is still a quite bearable and fine light flick with some good moments ("Let me have a penis that women find exciting! … Yeah, it's good, yeah. Could I have it white?”), but I can imagine a more entertaining result. ()

English The idea itself is not that original, but the way it is presented is great. Simon Pegg is a great comedian and he shows it to the full here. He was given a great story, and he utilized it to the best of his ability. Kate Beckinsale once again impressed me, and the special effects were also well done. A beautifully banal film that I had a great time with. ()
