Bittersweet, velvety, subtly aromatic – when it comes to making enticing chocolate creations, Angélique (Isabelle Carré) is extremely inventive. When she must speak to someone, however, she passes out. Jean-René (Benoît Poelvoorde) runs a chocolate factory but panics when he has to deal with other people. While Angélique gets to grips with her excessive sensitivity in a self-help group, Jean-René tries to overcome his inhibitions with the help of individual therapy. When Angélique finds herself working as a sale representative for Jean-René, the hurdles that she must overcome are enormous. Yet compared with Jean-René's fear of his own feelings, her situation is a piece of cake. The unexpected affection Jean-René that feels towards his new member of staff presents an extraordinary challenge which he attempts to face with unorthodox means. (official distributor synopsis)
