Plots(1)
Japanese family movie over-bubbling with kind humour cannot be summarised only as a story of an impoverished samurai from the early 19th century who ventures the time journey into the 21st century to make chocolate cakes. The English title of the movie "A Boy and His Samurai" suggests a clue to the story - a particular relationship between the extraordinary visitor, his admirer, as well as with the boy's vigorous mother. What is essential for a kid to grow straight? How can a kid change values of adults? To answers these questions one has to bite through mountains of sweets, which the samurai is able to produce as swiftly as if he were waving his sword. (Eiga-sai)
