Upon arriving in exotic Rio, longtime friends Matthew (Caine) and Victor (Bologna) and their teenage daughters (Moore & Johnson) barely unpack before this infamous pleasure spot begins to cast its torrid spell. You can thank Michael Caine for making this rom-com such an enjoyable watch. And Demi Moore definitely adds to the appeal, even though she doesn’t have a ton of screen time. Then there’s Valerie Harper, who I wasn’t familiar with, but... let’s just say she makes an impression. Overall, it’s a fun, wild 80s comedy.
