Survival drama set in the immediate aftermath of the World Trade Centre bombings in 2001, based on the testimony of John McLoughlin and William J. Jimeno; two of the last people to escape the wreckage alive. The most famous survival tale from America's biggest terrorist attack is here dramatised and given the Oliver Stone treatment. Trapped in the carnage following the attack, unsure of what exactly has occurred, two Port Authority Police officers (Nicolas Cage and Michael Peña) cling to life and the hope that someone will rescue them.
