The worlds of fiction and reality intermingle in this film, as well as the past and the present. Director Gómez is preparing a staging that analyses the problem of violence. Struck by a story of a woman tortured in an unnamed South-American dictatorship, he re-enacts her case. In the leading role, he casts a young non-actress who had longed to do theatre. Soon, an inspiring but emotionally problematic relationship develops between the two of them. (Summer Film School)
