Based on the Japanese Manga by Garon Tsuchiya and Nobuaki Minegishi, Oldboy tells the story of Oh Dae-Su (Choi Min-Sik), an average man who is kidnapped and imprisoned in a shabby cell for 15 years without any explanation. Eventually he is released, equipped with money, a cell phone, expensive clothes, and only five days to exact his vengeance against his those responsible for his incarceration.
