Captain Haddock inherits a ship, the Toison d'or, which is in very bad condition. When Tintin and him go to Istanbul to collect the ship, inexplicably a a man first offers to buy it for a large sum of money, and when refused by Captain Haddock, threatens them. Murder and death seems to surround the decrepit ship, and thus the mystery of the Golden Fleece, a mystery Tintin has to solve, begins. (Kino Lorber)
