Wacky Professor Phillip Brainard (Robin Williams) has just invented a revolutionary new compound. It's green. It flies. And it looks like rubber. It's Flubber! And it has the ability to save his financially troubled college as well as his broken engagement to his girlfriend Sara. That is until the gooey substance is stolen right from under the nose of his beloved, but jealous robot assistant Weebo! Now the professor's got to get the goo and the girl back where they belong. Mix one part gravity-defying visual effects, one part turbo-charged hilarity and a touch of Disney magic and you've got the makings of the ultimate family comedy treat! (Disney / Buena Vista)

English At times very silly, at times very boring, and the use of digital effects is often quite poor, but that was to be expected for its time. After all, even today it is possible to see worse special effects. Robin Williams is classically kind of nice, and the world here is simply divided into good and evil, which you can tell at first glance, and a brilliant invention is used for pretty dumb purposes. At times, there really isn't anything to laugh about in this film. ()
