Los Angeles, 1948. Detective Harry Lovecraft is hired by the wealthiest man in Los Angeles to find a stolen book of evil that holds the key to the world of mystical power. With only 48 hours to find the book, Lovecraft must face a gangster, his zombie sidekick and a torch singer. Aided only by his gut instincts and a lucky talisman, he sets out to save Los Angeles.
