Sometimes a classically constructed path of an outsider towards abilities, other times a story from life, then again action-packed mayhem, comedy, philosophy, and last but not least, a staggering amount of blood or openness. I am very glad that the fates of Kaneki and his friends and foes are unexpectedly constructed, effective, and every time I thought I had their genre and intention figured out, another surprising twist came. Seldom is a cocktail of so many ingredients successfully mixed with a universal taste finale for everyone.
